The games were held at www.tworockaikido.com In Petaluma. What a BEAUTIFUL day... BRIGHT GREEN grass with Shockingly Yellow Mustard. It is the first time I have felt like I was back in New Zealand. The hills were dotted with Cows and Sheep... Absolutly Beautiful.

The game is one of LIFE AND DEATH..... But it is a GAME, (must be remembered)
Like REAL LIFE there are FATES that happen for no rhyme or reason, (VERRRRY FRUSTRATING.... unless the consequences go in your favor????) For example.... I was challenged by another Samurai Warrior to competition to stand like a stork, who ever put their foot down first would DIE..... HE was STRONG, GROUNDED, FOCUSED, he was BETTER than me BUT I did not put my foot down for a LONNNNNGGGG time even though I was off balance often, jumping around trying not to fall over, sweat was dripping from my hands which were in Prayer position over my head. EVENTUALLY after what felt like hours the FATES OF WAR acknowledged out brave, determination and  efforts by telling us to put our foot down, they called it a truce??? They could have as easily claimed him the winner because clearly he was, he never wavered, never flinched, never moved a muscle while I flailed around like a mess. The Fates of War had us do Rock Paper Scissors, I won, he died!!!!!!! That is LIFE MAN??? You never know what is going to happen??? One person gets cancer, another altimerz? Another becomes Rich by luck or skill? another is screwed over by life in a thousand differnet ways while another is born with a silver spoon and a perfect life???

The Goal was to kill everyone on the oponents team.... Without ever Smiling. If you smiled you DIED. IF you looked the fates of war into the eyes you DIED (if they saw you)

In the end, I died by my own decision because I had smiled (even though the Fates of War did not see me) I did the honorable thing and chose to die.

I dont want to give all the surprises away but I will tell you that the day after doing the Game I was in a potential life and death saturation for REAL and I remained CALM, GROUNDED and FOCUSED, I didnt get thrown off balance by the situation I was in which allowed me to make clear choices.

I;m thankful for the opportunity to played the game and highly recomend it to anyone and everyone that wants to learn about themselves in a deeper way. It is a perfect GAME for Highschoool kids, corporations, team building or family reunions.

I'm told the game is never the same....... One woman in my CAMP had played 6 other times and each game was a different expereince.

There will be another game in October if your tempted to put yourself in an intense situation with great rewards.
