The Ballroom has been the venue for LIVE THEATER http://www.lightweight-theater.com/  including the likes of Shirley Valentine/Night of Love, Dramatic Readings, Venetian Masked ball, the Auckland Philharmonia Jade String Quartet, Treasure hunts, Corporate team building/planning and weddings.

The Art studio (as is all the different spaces at HUTM) is available for facilitators/tutors/teachers to bring their students for a retreat, Painting, Mosaic, sewing, still life drawing? Anything you can imagine. It is fully insulated, skylights are on the south side, and there are trestle tables and chairs provided.

The Commercial Country Kitchen has a Kauri table that sits 14 people comfortably, a wood burning “gourmet” cooker, an La Marzacco Italian espresso machine. WHAT COMES OUT OF THE KITCHEN DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR DESIRE IS! Do you want a low fat, raw, detox?? Or a delectably fattening full on Gastronomique meal???
